Tutorial Services
The Tutorial Program at Science Happens 4 Me provides academic assistance for youth and adults in the following subject areas:
All low income students pay $12.50 per hour for tutorial services based on their parent’s IRS Tax statement.
Program Overview
We provide tutorial services in Basic English, grammar and basic sentence writing and composition, reading comprehension, general math, American History, and science to low income and moderate income children. These services will be offered to elementary school age children in grades third and sixth, as well as, junior high students in grades seventh to tenth grade.
We provide advice and counsel to parents or legal guardian with students needing or possessing an IEP (Individual Educational Program) relating to specific educational services needed in organizational management, behavioral alternatives in regards in a student’s learning in the subject fields of: reading, writing, basic math, science, history, and other academic subjects.

- Basic English Grammar
- Basic Study Skills
- Time Management
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Sciences: Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physical Science
- EOG & EOC Test Taking Skills
